Do I need restaurant experience?
Although restaurant experience is helpful, it is not required. However, what is essential is strong business management skill and desire to learn. Our training programs arc designed to teach Marrybrown Operating System to any person from any background. Our training and support team have developed many successful Marrybrown Franchisees.
What kind of training will I receive?
We have designed a comprehensive training program for new Marrybrown Franchisees. It includes practical field training in a Marrybrown restaurant and classroom sessions at Marrybrown School of QSR. You will learn the essentials of restaurant operations from crew management, financial management and marketing tools. The program highlights on the proven methods and techiiiqucs that have helped our Franchisees to become successful.
How many people can I send and for how long?
Marrybrown strongly encourage the Franchisee to complete the 3 months restaurant management training program, or at the minimal the Franchisee must complete the Director training program. Marrybrown System requires the minimal of 3 restaurant management personnel (who passed Marrybrown selection criteria) to attend and complete a 3 months restaurant management training program. As Marrybrown operates 12 hours or more daily, there is a morning and an afternoon shift and the total minimum number of crew required to operate the restaurant effectively is 15 crew members which covers all stations in the kitchen, counter and dining area. The crews are required to complete the training program of I month. An experienced trainer is assigned to you and your team and the training program is provided for free. Expenses incurred for transportation, food, lodging and employees’ salary are bear by the Franchisee.
How do I find a location for my Marrybrown Restaurant and will Mariybrown assist in designing my restaurant?
Marrybrown will provide you with the critical guidelines in identifying a successful location, however the primary responsibility for site selection is with the Franchisee. For each location, Marrybrown must approve the site before renovation project begins. We will appoint an experienced interior designer and kitchen specialists to advise the Franchisee on the latest Marrybrown concept, designs, layout, equipment, building materials and so on.
Am I required to purchase food supplies from Marrybrown? What about equipment?
We will provide a list of items required to purchase from Marrybrown and from our appointed suppliers. Our suppliers are leaders in their industry and are able to meet with Marrybrown’s high quality and services.The Franchisee shall purchase the specific brands of equipment and products approved by Marrybrown for the restaurants effective daily operations to maintain high standards during the whole term of the franchise.
Will Marrybrown help me with opening my restaurant?
Yes. There are number of details that must be attended to ensure a successful opening. Marrybrown will send a qualified team of restaurant professionals to assess the location and develop the initial market development plan. Prior to the opening, our team will assist you with recruitment, crew training, intial food purchasing, manpower scheduling and so on. During the opening, the team will provide shoulder-to-shoulder training to your staffs to reinforce what they learn during the training program. The team will coach on all critical areas of restaurant operations from cash handling to stock management. The size of our opening support team and duration of stay will be determined by Marrybrown management to ensure your team’s success.
How much money can i expect lo make from a Marrybrown Franchise?
Sales and profitability varies upon several factors, including traffic flow of the locations, rental rates, utilities and other daily operating costs. Sales is highly dependent on the ability of the Franchisees team to manage and deliver the high quality, service and cleanliness of Marrybrown system to each and every customer visit. Marrybrown does not provide sales and profitability projections.
Will Marrybrown finance the cost of franchise?
Each franchise owner will be responsible for obtaining his or her own financing. Marrybrown does not lend to or guarantee the financing and rental agreements of franchisees.
How long will it take to get a Marrybrown restaurant opened?
It will take approxunatcly 3 months from the time the Marrybrown Franchise Agreement is signed. The main factors that usually affects the opening date of the restaurant is the readiness of the location as agreed by the landlord and the capability of the construction team to deliver the quality that Marrybrown expects. Marrybrown’s final checks and approval is required for all restaurant openings.
